WebJul 8, 2010 · bipod vs bags. Bipods are for hunting and bags are for bench shooting.at least by design. Bags are more stable from a bench and a bipod is quick and easy to set up in a field. Not saying that one cant be subsituted for the other but it will never be as good as the one designed for the peticular situation.
