I've had to "reset" and start again... before the water and heat will come on. Which is not looking good for the cold winter months ahead..

After 12 yrs of use with no problem, the timer function won't work ie. come on at the reqd times for the heating ( hot water function seems to operate fine) WebSep 18, 2011 · I had the same problem which turned out to be just a dodgy contact on one or more of the contact pins. These pins connect the circuit board to the back panel. Unplug the board, clean the pins and refit the board. A similar (3 pin) rechargeable battery is available from Maplins but I cannot say if it is suitable.
