If there are multiple birds in the frame, it will focus on those that are largest and closest to the camera. I’ve never been a fan of Auto-area AF as it gives all control over focus to the camera and I’m a bit of a control freak. WebDec 24, 2024 · I've used both my A73 and 6400 for photos of cats and dogs (adoption agency photos). Yes, it works well. Yes the A73 and 6400 make it MUCH easier than my 6500 (the same way eye AF makes AF MUCH easier compared to shooting with DSLR).
